The Executive Committee oversees the annual operation of the Institute and may exercise all the powers and authority of the full Board of Directors, whether conferred by law or the by-laws of the Institute between its annual and special meetings except as restricted by the by-laws of the Institute.

Directors are elected by the membership for three-year terms with approximately one-third of the directors standing for election each year at the annual members meeting. All directors must be members of the Institute.
