Local Chapters

   European Chapter

The IPMI European Chapter was established in July 2013 as the first chapter located outside the United States. Several events are organized annually, including a wine tasting during the Platinum Week in London in May as well as a two day dedicated Seminar in Europe in November with more than 120 participants.The Chapter is open for membershipfor companies and individuals based or active in Europe.There are currently 150 members and approximately 30 Patron companies sponsor the Chapter.    Metro New York Chapter

The Metro New York Chapter currently has more than 150 members. Our mission is to continue to provide quality programs and top-notch activities for our members and guests, creating a favorable venue for the exchange of ideas and information pertinent to the precious metals industry as well as an opportunity to socialize.


   New England Chapter

The New England Chapter of IPMI supports regional precious metals businesses including the jewelry and related industries, manufacturers, refiners, suppliers, and financiers.

It focuses on providing timely and educational information on topics including precious metals markets, environmental and regulatory updates, security and control, insurance, ownership structures, industry history and trends, and the economy.

It also supports local college programs and encourages and rewards students seeking entry into the jewelry industry. IPMI NE's Jewelry Design Awards is an annual event which showcases and recognizes the wealth of talent, design, technical and manufacturing skills of students participating in jewelry and metalsmithing curriculums.


   Central States Chapter

The Central States chapter of the IPMI began and had its by-laws approved at an organizational meeting at Lake Tahoe in 1986. After a multi-year hiatus, the by-laws were reinstated on July 7, 2014. Annual membership runs from 30 September through 30 September.


The Central States chapter will host 2-4 meetings each year, most often located in the Chicago area. These meetings may be formatted as dinner meetings, seminars, networking happy hours, or recreational events. Most meetings will include speakers who talk about relevant topics within the precious metals industry such as company best practices, 101 presentations on particular aspects of the industry, regulations, and topical issues.
