Our Mission

The New England Chapter of IPMI supports regional precious metals businesses including the jewelry and related industries, manufacturers, refiners, suppliers, and financiers.

It focuses on providing timely and educational information on topics including precious metals markets, environmental and regulatory updates, security and control, insurance, ownership structures, industry history and trends, and the economy.

It also supports local college programs and encourages and rewards students seeking entry into the jewelry industry. IPMI NE's Jewelry Design Awards is an annual event which showcases and recognizes the wealth of talent, design, technical and manufacturing skills of students participating in jewelry and metalsmithing curriculms.
