Chair or Co-Chairs of actual Working Committee will be selected by decision of IPMI Executive Committee with input from Executive Director

Activities, Duties, and Responsibilities

 

  • Organize meetings ~2 times per year to include relevant topics for the IPMI community.
  • Chairs are responsible for organizing the speakers and agenda for each meeting.
  • IPMI Executive Director organizes location and logistics of meeting.

 

Objectives

 

• Share practices including:
  • Enlisting sector experts and relevant industry participants to present and conduct discussion groups
  • Inspire and empower women to transcend traditional boundaries, harness inner strength to conquer work and life challenges and increase their confidence to create new paths in the precious metals industry.
  • Growth and Recognition – welcome new women and celebrate all accomplishments, promotions, milestones, and spotlights within the Precious Metals Industry.
  • Create a mentor\mentorship program to support the advancement of female leaders in the industry.
  • Bring awareness to and discuss difficult topics such as gender bias, family diversity and work life balance as a female in a male dominated industry.
  • Envision additional ways that the proposed committee can help ensure a thriving world for future generations in the Precious Metals Industry.
